On the occasion of the launch of Surfrider Europe’s new identity, illustrated by a new logo and a new website, Surfrider Europe presents a new ready-to-wear logo collection available online. Composed of a T-shirt (with an exclusive child size for 6-10-year-olds) and various sweaters, the collection allows the Surfrider community to reaffirm and display its commitment. This new collection demonstrates the values that bind our community: dedication, authenticity, and respect for the ocean.

Wearing the colors of Surfrider Europe means sharing a positive message and believing in the power of change while being part of a large community of ocean lovers. We know how much you care about the oceans and our environment, which is why we have created a collection that respects our high standards in terms of quality and, above all, respect for the planet.

We know the names of the people who created our clothing and the origin of the materials we have chosen to produce the best and most environmentally friendly collection we have ever made. Together, we can change the situation and move towards a more environmentally friendly everyday life and more conscious consumption. We want you to be part of the change towards more sustainable textile products.

A RESPONSIBLE COLLECTION THAT RESPECTS THE OCEAN

The continually growing fashion industry is one of the most polluting with multiple impacts on water, agriculture, and humans. Indeed, 99% of clothes, even those made from durable packaging, contain plastic: synthetic polyester yarns, synthetic labels or plastic packaging. To address this scourge, Surfrider Europe has created several campaigns to ban plastic from our daily lives.
That is why, in line with its desire to present a responsible and respectful fashion, Surfrider Europe has called on committed factories. At the same time, these industries protect the rights of their employees and have a real objective of minimizing their environmental footprint. For this reason, we have chosen to use 100% organic cotton, produced locally and ethically in the design of the products of this new collection.

In addition to that, to ensure a complete follow-up, from the choice of the fiber to the final garment, and to reduce its carbon footprint, all models are now manufactured in Portugal, allowing a 100% European production. We didn’t add any unnecessary labels and we ship all of our clothes without single-use packaging. This new collection, sold exclusively through our online shop, offers you the opportunity to wear the Surfrider Europe’s actions. Indeed, each purchase provides financial support for Surfrider Europe’s various programs and field missions across the continent.
